Holding My Heart

It is true to say that learning platforms hold my heart.

Everything that I want to give to every child in every school, every little kid who is quick, who wants an alternative, wants to run to where his heart is, in his mum, or in his dad, in his brothers or his football, or in all things he holds most dear that make him despair at the hours of listening – that this is my gift for it all. Because when one is a child, one's heart is everywhere.

Learning Platforms frees the school room. Suddenly you can think about the situation in front of you. The teacher stood there, your friends all around, the joy of the opportunity to learn secure in the fact that the words of the textbook are safe where you need them to be later and right now, right now - with the teacher stood in front, you can say instead, the things you want to say, the things you think.

And it's the same for teachers. Because nobody, not a single teacher wants to drone on about the things you have to remember when one can instead have the interactions one wants to have, with the children one wants to teach, the teaching one wants to do.

Learning Platforms let you take the curriculum and the learning for granted, by putting it in the platform, assuming that the facts are easy and learnt while you chat, or work, or hang around a practitioner, letting you spend your time in the class, discussing the things that moved you until they move a child who catches your spark and runs with it like a glow-worm.

Because nobody should be forced to have to sit still for 16 years.

So get one today. Learn to use it. Make sure you put everything you want to teach into it. Because our students should only love us as free children and the technology is here.
